As a kid I was always a comics fan. Whether it was a Marvel comic right off the rack, Saturday morning cartoon, or the Knoxville News Sentinel Sunday morning comics page. Lil’ Abner… Snuffy Smith… Peanuts… Beetle  Bailey…  Pogo… Alley Oop… BC…  Dick Tracy… I couldn’t wait to get to that back page!

Little Annie Fanny was created for Playboy by MAD magazine’s own Will Elder, and Harvey Kurtzman . I always loved when they had caricatures of celebrities  in the story line. Stan Laurel, Humphrey Bogart,  Annie,  James Cagney, Edward G. Robinson, and Rondo Hatton in the back.
